high vol.ume dates back to 2020, creating mixes of my favorite songs in garageband during the pandemic. this process allowed me to explore themes such as morality, sexuality, and emotion across genres and time. at the same time i created a magazine titled “somewhere in the middle” to use photography and self portraiture as an outlet during lockdown.

what could be considered the first intended iteration of high vol.ume, is an incomplete deep dive into the relationship between religious aesthetics and queer lifestyle titled "in j*sus name"
it all begins with an idea. maybe two. maybe even three. "audio visual", set to my 56 minute and 43 second dj set, is my own amalgamation of music, video, and design.
while still in the beginning stages, 52Hz is set to address the idea of sound and music in relation to feelings of loneliness and isolation and how the two interact and feed on one another. Inspired by what is described as the "world's loneliest whale"
