finding flora: guide

The Passion Guide was assigned to help learn how to develop a system using text, imagery, color, and grid. I focused plant nurseries and shops in San Diego, creating a list of 20 locations pertaining to my chosen topic, and then highlighting my top 3 businesses and creating information pages for each of them. I utilized oversized bold text paired with threshold imagery to create an eye-catching design on each page. I wanted the color palette to reflect the topic, for example, the multiple shades of green, while still including various other high contrast and bright accents such as the off black against the white as well as the bright shades of orange.

finding flora: mobile app

This project was created to develop an interactive app based on the printed guide that we created earlier in the semester. I aimed to create an all-in-one experience for plant lovers including a social platform, direct messaging, shopping, reviews, and tools. The color palette was a toned-down but borrowed scheme from the physical guide
